Slessor Gardens is a large parkland and events space at the heart of Dundee's Waterfront.

Around the edge are a series of pocket gardens which depict aspects of Dundee's history and current activities.

The eight gardens at the north end depict our historic trade connections and local areas of achievement.

This takes inspiration from the environmental message of "Think Global, Act Local". The global gardens include an Asian themed space - can you spot the feature that resembles a bale of Jute? Or perhaps In the local literature garden you could identify which plant was once used in India as a source of paper for writing sacred texts?
