Dock railway

Taken in Camperdown Street - there was a large network of railways throughout the dock to service the various ships, transit sheds and other businesses in the area. Some of the railway lines can still be seen adjacent to Victoria Dock.

Camperdown Dock

Tidal Harbour

Looking over the tidal harbour towards the entrance of the King William IV dock. This area was filled in to make way for the construction of the Tay Road Bridge which opened in 1966. The Telford Beacon can be seen to the left of the photograph in its original location.
