The street and the dock transit sheds on the right still exist. The buildings on the left are the Dock Police Station with Dundee East Station beyond.

The police station was located between the two dock entry gates on what is now a car park. Dundee East Station was located next to the railway tunnel entrance and has been demolished - the site now occupied by a car garage and showroom.
